PLVEdental aims to provide a route for suitably qualified dental clinicians to develop a career pathway to obtaining an NHS Performer Number.

Our highly experienced Mentors and clinical teams have been assisting and supporting dental clinicians to acquire their Performer Number or equivalent since 2004. During this time, it has become increasingly evident that often, highly skilled clinicians, having qualified outside of the UK and of the EU, have found it to be an increasingly challenging environment, resulting in several years of delay and hesitation. This reality leads to the recognition of the need to establish a structure to enable these clinicians to develop a route with the ultimate objective of obtaining an NHS Performer Number, and with this the flexibility of providing primary dental care services to all sectors and categories of patient.

Dental clinics of varying sizes in the following locations:

• Nottinghamshire
• Derbyshire
• Leicestershire
• Sheffield
• Wakefield
• Barnsley
• Chesterfield
• Alfreton

Currently there are a total of 15 full-time positions available across various locations as listed above. This number and distrubution is likely to change and therefore regular revisiting of this site is advised.

The dental clinics in which PLVE training will be provided, will be fully operational dental practices offering primary dental care on both an NHS and a Private basis. The clinics themselves will be staffed by dental clinicians and appropriately trained and qualified support teams, with full dental laboratory services available.

PLVEdental is seeking to engage a total of 15 excellent Associate dentists with full clinical freedom, to join its expanding group of dental practices throughout - Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Chesterfield, Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley and Wakefield.

The ideal candidate has completed ORE, is GDC Registered and is seeking a PLVE position in a Deanery approved dental practice with experienced Mentors. The competition for these positions in excellent practices with committed experienced clinical teams, supported by GDC Registered Specialists and experienced Management Clinicians, is very high indeed.
